Shipping Policy

Every cut is vacuum sealed at peak freshness right here in Milo, Iowa. Your order ships in an insulated box with dry ice or gel ice packs to keep everything below 40°F throughout transit. We pack each box so it arrives cold and ready to go straight into your freezer.

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days of being placed. Once your order is packed and ready, it ships on the next available ship day (see below).

To protect the quality of your perishable order, we ship on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays only. This ensures your box never sits in a carrier facility over a weekend. Orders placed late in the week will ship the following Monday or Tuesday.

Shipping is calculated at $1.75 per pound based on the total weight of your order. The exact cost is shown at checkout before you pay.

Delivery typically takes 1–2 days from the date of shipment. You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.

We offer local delivery to the Des Moines metro area for a flat $25 fee. Des Moines deliveries go out on Thursdays and Fridays. Select this option at checkout if it is available in your area.

We strongly recommend being home when your delivery arrives. While your order is packed to stay cold, you should transfer it to the freezer as soon as it arrives. If you cannot be home, leave instructions with your carrier to place the package in a shaded area and plan to retrieve it within a few hours.

Please inspect your shipment immediately upon receipt. Risk of loss and title pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not liable for delays caused by the carrier, weather, or incorrect address information. We are not responsible for spoilage resulting from delayed pickup, improper storage, or customer error.

Transfer everything straight to your freezer on arrival. A standard kitchen freezer works perfectly — no special setup needed. The vacuum-sealed packs stack and organize easily. Your beef stays at peak quality for up to 12 months in the freezer. To thaw, pull a pack out the night before and refrigerate overnight; it will be ready to cook the next day.

Every order ships with our satisfaction guarantee. If anything about your delivery is not right — damaged packaging, a cut that did not meet expectations, anything at all — contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will make it right.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, minus any non-refundable shipping costs. Returns are limited to damaged, defective, or incorrect items due to the perishable nature of our products. Non-perishable snack items may qualify for return within 30 days if unopened and in resellable condition (customer pays return shipping). Custom processing services are non-refundable once processing has begun.
